Nanna is a character of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron.
She is voiced by Samantha Francis.
She's is a young blind girl who doesn't remember her origins. She was raised like a daughter by the leader of the Freemen, Sin. He taught her about Ishtar and her prophecies and she is roaming the Tower looking for the Heavenly Messenger.
Chapter 03: The Mercy of EzekielEdit
When Enoch enters the Ezekiel's realm, Nanna notices his presence and catches up with him.
She then guides him through Ezekiel's realm and tells him the tale of Ishtar, but also questions his silence.
Afterwards, there are abruptly separated by one of Ezekiel's giant pigs.
Chapter 07: The Cry of ArmarosEdit
When Enoch arrives in Armaroses realm, Nanna is ahead of him.
Enoch pursues, and Armaros follows some time later.
Chapter 08: Belial's TemptationEdit
Armaros finds Nanna unconscious in the Darkness. He also witnesses Ishtar's soul entering Nanna's body.
When Enoch is saved and sent out of the Darkness, Nanna attempts to wake up Enoch but to no avail.
Lucifel tells her it's useless, and suggest praying, if Enoch can hear her.
Chapter 09: Enoch’s IndecisionEdit
Nanna keeps a watch on Enoch's body that has been sealed in a crystal rock, despite the bad weather.
She continues to guard Enoch for more than a year. Lucifel notes her persistence to God, and he's also surprised because she can apparently "sense" him.
When Enoch's soul is in Heaven to purify itself, the Fallen Angels took the opportunity to wipe out the Freemen. Nanna walks across a desert battlefield littered with corpses of the Freemen and stumbles on Sin's mask, Ishtar's skull, causing her to awaken as Ishtar. This also turns her her gray eyes into green, recovering her sight.
Chapter 10: The Grave of ArakielEdit
When Enoch meets Ishtar, Nanna's spirit sends a message to him so that he may recognize Ishtar.
- "A blind young girl that met Enoch in "The Tower" and helps guide him. She was raised by the leader of the "Freemen" group, which opposes the distorted ideals and sorcerous arts of the land of the fallen angels.
For some reason her childhood memories are lost, her exact origin unknown. From the adults around her, she had heard the legend and prophecy of Enoch, she embraces him with great respect and admiration."
